The PGME Office supports your program through faculty development, implementation communications, system and technical support, and so much more.
Your first Point of Contact is the CBD Coordinator for the Department of Pediatrics, Karee Moffatt. Whether you are a resident, program coordinator, program director, CBD lead, competence committee chair, academic advisor, or any kind of faculty, you should be approaching Karee for help first. Karee's role is supported by the PGME office both financially and philosophically. All of the larger departments (Medicine, Pediatrics, Anaesthesiology, Critical Care, Surgery, Oncology, Radiology, and Emergency) have PGME supported CBD Coordinators. These roles were created for the purpose of communication and support departmentally where the PGME cannot.
When you need help, the first person you should ask is the departmental CBD Coordinator. In cases where she can't help you directly, she will reach out to the appropriate PGME office contact for support.
The PGME Office has a fantastic amount of resources available for all things CBME. They have a site dedicated to linking resources and making information available. You can find it here.
