Digital Library North Demonstrations

Members of the Digital Library North research team, along with staff from the ICRC and a local elder, traveled to five of the six Inuvialuit Settlement Region communities over two weeks in May to provide community members with the opportunity to view the digital library before it is publicly released online.

Digital Library North is a collaborative project between Inuvialuit Cultural Resource Centre (ICRC) and researchers and librarians from the University of Alberta. The library contains a sample of ICRC's resources including: language lessons in three Inuvialuktun dialects, books in the three dialects, photo collections, videos, and audio files.
