Taste of Edmonton

Enjoy the best of Edmonton's local cuisine with your fellow CS graduate students during the evening of Thursday, July 20 2023! Since 1984, Taste of Edmonton has been offering a sampling of what Edmonton restaurants have to offer. All of the city’s best food and drinks gather together back at Churchill Square. This festival aspires to provide beer or wine, sweet or savory, gluten or gluten-free, folk music or jazz for attendees. More information can be found at: https://tasteofedm.ca/

Modalities of Moving

We will be meeting in Athabasca Hall at 5:30 pm on Thursday, July 20th. We will take the LRT to Churchill square to attend the Taste of Edmonton festival. The first 30 CS participants to sign up (and attend) will be given free food tickets from CSGSA. CSGSA would spend roughly 2.5 hours until 8 PM at Churchill Square and after that time, participants may or may not continue attending the event on their own responsibility. At any time, participants can opt to leave the CSGSA group and return home (finding their own way) and, CSGSA would hold no responsibilities on the means participants would choose to return home. It is important to mention that alcohol is readily available at this location. The CSGSA event does not involve alcohol and the free tickets are intended for food purchases. However, participants may freely choose to use their tickets on alcohol and to break away from the CSGSA group event to drink alcohol.
