1:00 PM: Keynote Presentation - Dr. Janessa Laskin, "The integration of whole genome and transcriptome sequencing into cancer care."

Synopsis:

Dr. Janessa Laskin will provide an overview of the Personalized Oncogenomics (POG) Program - the BC-wide prospective translational cancer research program that integrates whole genome, transcriptome and germline sequencing into clinical care for patients with a diverse range of cancer types. Dr. Laskin will focus on the challenges and opportunities for this program over the past decade, and lead a discussion on the importance of genomics data sharing and how the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centre Network can help researchers and clinicians learn and improve cancer research and care.
