Synopsis: 

Dr. Janessa Laskin will provide an overview of the Personalized Oncogenomics (POG) Program - the BC-wide prospective translational cancer research program that integrates whole genome, transcriptome and germline sequencing into clinical care for patients with a diverse range of cancer types. Dr. Laskin will focus on the challenges and opportunities for this program over the past decade, and lead a discussion on the importance of genomics data sharing and how the Marathon of Hope Cancer Centre Network can help researchers and clinicians learn and improve cancer research and care.

In this session, Dr. Janessa Laskin, Dr. Randeep Sangha, Dr. Cheng-Han Lee and Danielle Simonot will explore strategies for how to integrate biomedical research into clinical trials.
