The inaugural CPFF Hope Breathes Here Walk for Pulmonary Fibrosis is set to take place in Edmonton on Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Sir Wilfred Laurier Park (13221 Buena Vista Rd NW). This community event, organized by the Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation (CPFF), aims to raise awareness and funds for those affected by pulmonary fibrosis (PF), a chronic and progressive lung disease.
Participants are encouraged to join the walk to show support for PF patients and their families. The event is free to attend and welcomes individuals of all ages and abilities. Funds raised will support CPFF’s initiatives, including patient support programs, educational resources, and research funding.
The CPFF Hope Breathes Here Walk is part of a broader national effort to increase visibility for PF and to foster community engagement. Similar walks have been successful in other Canadian cities, contributing to increased awareness and support for those living with the disease.
