What We Do

The Craniofacial Biomechanics and Biomaterials Research Group (CBBRG) focuses on investigating the biomechanics, responses, and applications of craniofacial structures in a broad effort to refine clinical applications. We focus primarily on research topics in natural biomaterials (soft tissue and bone), orthodontic biomechanics, and synthetic materials (dental restorative materials). Our group utilizes advanced numerical modeling and experimental approaches to investigate relevant problems pertaining to the craniofacial region.
