What do you like about Edmonton: It is a calm, uncrowded city. The atmosphere is very supportive for learning and education.
What are the highlights of the program:
Elegant and supportive staff. Subspecialized staff with different interests which enriches you with knowledge and experiences. The respect you receive as a fellow in discussions increase your confidence and level of healthy thinking. The whole pulmonary team work as a family. Availability of "transplant program" is a unique advantage and provides any fellow with great experience as it is available only in few centres around the world.
The "sleep lab " is another advantage and enrich the program. Availability of other strong related teams. For example: ENT, cardiac surgery, pediatric surgery, add another way of experience in our program.
What is one piece of advice you would share with applicants about the interview process: Be yourself and have a clear goal before starting any journey in your life. People will always respect someone with a target and plan.
