for short-term bookings in the University Residence, and downtown Edmonton has a number of hotels
(conference rate hotels to be announced) as well as several excellent restaurants.
Conference attendees will receive an “I survived Edmonton in February” sticker with which they can out-
Canadian all their friends in weather discussions. MacEwan University is fortuitously built so that you
don’t have to go outside once you enter any of the buildings, and it is possible to get to MacEwan from
most parts of downtown through the plus-15 pedway system (a map will be provided).
