The Translational Research Panel gives students the opportunity to learn from UofA clinician scientists about a day in their life and share their experiences and advice to students interested in pursuing careers in translational medicine.
The Simulation Lab offers graduate and medical students the chance to practice basic clinical skills in a case-based session. Previous sessions have included point of care ultrasound, suturing skills, neuro cases, and more!
The Buddy Match Program pairs graduate and medical students together based on similar interests with the goal to share experiences with each other, build connections, and get a glimpse into the day in the life of a medical student or grad student at the UofA.
The Welcome BBQ is an excellent opportunity for FoMD students to get to know their peers in different programs and to learn about the exciting B2B events and initiatives throughout the school year.
