Anne-José Villeneuve

I am an associate professor of French linguistics at Campus Saint-Jean and an adjunct professor at the Department of Linguistics of the University of Alberta, where I lead the Espace LiFT (Espace Linguistique pour une Francophonie en Transformation). My research in sociolinguistics focuses on language variation and change, bilingualism, language contact, and language education. 

Originally from Montréal, I embrace my Québécois-Haitian heritage and my multilingual life journey. As a dog enthusiast, I also thoroughly enjoy the company of four-legged friends.
