AAPA 2026 is hosted in the Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport and Recreation at the University of Alberta- home of the hosting partner, The Steadward Centre for Personal and Physical Achievement. The University of Alberta is located on lands now known as Treaty 6,7 and 8, the traditional territory of the Cree, Blackfoot, Métis, Nakota Sioux, Iroquois, Dene, and Ojibway/Saulteaux/Anishinaabe nations and the homeland of the Métis.
The University of Alberta is located in central Edmonton, on the south side of the North Saskatchewan River.
The University of Alberta can be accessed by driving or transit.
