Reetwika Basu, PhD
Research Scientist|Economist at SERVIR at NASA Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC) and Lab of Applied Sciences at University of Alabama in Huntsville. Her research is centered on conducting comprehensive impact assessments of SERVIR's tools and services across all regions where the program operates, utilizing advanced economic methodologies.
Reetwika earned her PhD in Economics in July 2023 from Washington State University’s School of Economic Sciences, under the guidance of Dr. Jonathan Yoder. Her doctoral research focused on the development of Agent-Based Models for water allocation in agricultural water markets in the Western United States.
