The Clean Hydrometallurgical Recycling and Environmentally-Sustainable Technologies (CHREST) laboratory is focused on advancing sustainability through studying surface phenomena at the nexus of chemical and mechanical mechanisms. This includes leaching kinetics, sonochemistry, electrochemical reactions, materials science and even heat transfer! Our research is highly interdisciplinary and requires breadth across science and engineering spheres.
