The 2020-2021 School year has been tough for all of us, students and teachers alike. We struggled with the stress and anxiety of the global pandemic, switching to online or hybrid courses, and of course, worries about friends and loved ones.

When I saw the beauty, expressiveness, and incredible variety of works submitted to this year’s online juried exhibition, I was amazed. Our students are (of course) fantastic, but the resilience they demonstrated over the last year is truly remarkable. I am so proud of their hard work and dedication!

The annual student show is always a celebration—and although we can’t get together in person— I hope you will still take as much joy in the work as I did.
