De acuerdo con el artículo 56 del Reglamento General de Estudios de Posgrado (RGEP), los plazos para egresar del programa educativo son:

MAESTRÍA: 4 SEMESTRES

DOCTORADO: 8 SEMESTRES

Para incribirse a los semestres regulares se debe hacer una solicitud de reinscipción

Cuando se completan los plazos indicados en el programa educativo, se puede solicitar inscripción a 3 semestres adicionales

Maestría: semestres 5, 6, 7

Doctorado: semestres 9, 10, 11

Para inscribirse a los semestres no regulares se debe hacer una solicitud de vigencia a la última CAIP del semestre previo

Vigencia

Solicitud de reinscripción a semestre de vigencia, dirigida a la CAIP, que incluya un cronograma de actividades y posible fecha de titulación. Esta carta debe llevar la firma autógrafa del estudiante y la efirma del director de tesis y debe ENVIARSE A LA ÚLTIMA REUNIÓN DE CAIP DEL SEMESTRE ANTERIOR. Adicionalmente, el Consejo Interno del Posgrado (CIP), a petición escrita del estudiante, podrá autorizar una última prórroga de hasta seis meses más para la obtención del grado, tomando en consideración la opinión de la CAIP, del Comité Tutorial y las circunstancias particulares del caso.

Maestría: semestre 8

Doctorado: semestre 12

Para inscribirse al último semestre adicional se debe hacer la solicitud en la penúltima reunión de CAIP e incluir todos los documentos indicados

Última prórroga

ESTA SOLICITUD DEBE ENVIARSE A MÁS TARDAR EN LA PENÚLTIMA REUNIÓN DE CAIP DEL SEMESTRE 7 DE MAESTRÍA, O EN EL SEMESTRE 11 PARA DOCTORADO.

Concluido el semestre 8 de maestría, o el semestre 12 de doctorado, no es posible pagar vigencia o inscribirse al programa ni obtener el grado.
