🌴 Guidelines for a Good Oral Presentation in person or online

• 1. General Remarks

• Presentation time: 6 to 7 minutes maximum-→ Please respect the allocated time. 

• Maximum number of slides: 10

• Use a sufficient font size (minimum 20 pt for body text, 24–36 pt for titles).

• Avoid overloading your slides with too much text: visuals should take precedence.

• Focus on illustrations: graphs, tables, diagrams—especially functional diagrams.

• Presentation language: French or English
  (Some members of the scientific committee do not speak French)

• Speak clearly and confidently, using accurate and appropriate expressions.

• Avoid reading from your screen; try to speak freely, without relying on your computer.

• Answer questions from the evaluation committee briefly and calmly, staying on topic and without getting defensive.

♊ Slide 1:

• Header: Logo of your university – Logo of the symposium – Logo of your institution

• Center: Title of your communication (large font size)

• Below the title: Names of the authors

• Bottom:

Discussion: Compare your results with other studies, highlight their relevance, and discuss limitations if any

🌴Guidelines for a Good Poster Presentation

1. Respect the poster dimensions: 100 cm (height) × 70 cm (width).

2. Respect the posting schedule: April 19 from 8:30 to 9:00 a.m., and removal time: April 20 at 5:00 p.m.

3. Be present in front of your poster during the scheduled sessions to present your work and answer questions.

4. Prepare a short oral presentation (2–3 minutes), that is clear and persuasive.

5. Presentation language: French, English, or bilingual.

6. Be ready to discuss and defend your results with both the general audience and experts.

⚖️Prizes will be awarded for the best oral and poster presentations. 

The most outstanding publications will be published in a Scopus-indexed journal 

Arabian Journal of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (AJMAP)

Kindly be advised that participation in the symposium is compulsory. Failure to attend will lead to removal from the participant registry, and certificates will only be awarded upon completion of your presentation in its initially selected format (No changes to presentation mode will be permitted at this stage of the symposium) 

Please note: Physical attendance is mandatory only for in-person presenters. Participants who have opted for online presentations are exempt from this requirement (No changes to presentation mode will be permitted at this stage of the symposium ).
