El Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT) es la prueba de habilidades que necesitas para ser exitoso en la enseñanza de inglés como segunda lengua. Es ideal para profesores de todas las edades y habilidades. Hay varios módulos disponibles.
TKT te de una certificación aceptada internacionalmente que prueba tus habilidades en la enseñanza del inglés. la certificación es ideal si eres un profesor nuevo y quieres reforzar tus habilidades, o si eres un profesor con experiencia y deseas especializarte en un área en particular. El TKT también te da buenas bases si deseas estudiar para una certificación más avanzada en la enseñanza de inglés, como lo es el DELTA. No necesitas ninguna certificación formal en inglés para tomar el examen.
Además, los 3 módulos forman parte de los requisitos de Titulación para los alumnos de Facultad de Idiomas de las licenciaturas en Enseñanza de Lenguas y Docencia de Idiomas, y se recomienda tomarlo durante los últimos 3 semestres de su carrera y de preferencia habiando tomado la materia (si se encuentra ofertada) "Certificación para la enseñanza de la lengua inglesa" como preparación para el examen.
