The Maroons were defeated in the Sectional Championship game by Normal U-High 2-0 on Saturday, June 6 at Mt. Zion High School. Tre Cole pitched well in defeat fanning 10 Pioneer hitters. Johnny Timmons, Ben McDaniel and Nic Bralts were the only hitters to muster a hit a piece. Central closes its season with a 32-7 record.Â
