Mandatory Annual Training

Each year all Washington Central Supervisory Union employees are required to participate in trainings about the following subjects:

1. Act One: Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse
2. Bloodborne Pathogens and Universal Precautions
3. Confidentiality and FERPA
4. Harassment, Hazing and Bullying
5. Mandated Reporting to DCF
6. Rule 4500: Seclusion and Restraint
7. Safe and Drug-Free Schools

Each page on this site contains resources related to each of the topics.

For 2018-19 principals will work with their respective faculties and staffs to determine which resources they will access in order to engage in professional learning about each topic.

All employees must complete trainings about all subjects.

Upon completion of the training about each topic, employees must complete a brief quiz about the topic. There are 7 topics in all, so there are 7 quizzes.

Additionally, upon completion of all quizzes, employees must complete an attestation of their completion of the trainings and knowledge of their responsibilities. The link to the attestation is here.

After participating in these trainings, please see your principal or supervisor if you have further questions or concerns.

All employees are required to complete these trainings no later than Friday, September 7, 2018.
