If you have been keeping up with our Guidance news, we’ve been working on Friendships and everything that comes along with making and keeping friends, how to deal with disagreements or conflicts with friends and about healthy friendship boundaries. For example, in our 3-4 classes the students participated in a project called, “The Friendship Files.” The students made a file system around the key components of being a friend. The components consisted of a description of what a friend is…, Conflicts, Conversations, Common Interests, and a description of who one of their friends are.
