When the user enters the vehicle, the app will automatically connect to the car Bluetooth and start the trip. A driving screen will be displayed to the user with no distraction and will prompt the user to start driving. When a bad driving behavior is detected, depending on the different behaviors, the app will play a notification sound to notify the user for the negative behavior, change the screen color to reflect the behavior, and provide a message to improve. At the end of the trip, a summary page will be displayed, along with a score, a message, and a line graph of the speed.
Based on drivers’ performance, the application will generate weekly reports to show what drivers do well, what drivers need to be improved and their overall score. The general daily savings are displayed in calendar format.
Based on the real-time weather report, DrivePal will automatically update its behavior, including mute on notifications, pausing data collection, and calibrating driving criteria. These updates will be shown on the status page.
