Yitong is one of the co-founders of Reflections Repertory Company, as well as its Artistic Director. She is a junior student double majoring in Dance and Political Science. She grew up training in ballet, modern, and jazz styles, and has attended multiple summer programs including the American Dance Festival, Alonzo King LINES Ballet, and Joffrey Ballet School. She has choreographed 5 pieces for Reflections, and performed in many more during winter and spring shows. She is also a member of Refresh Dance Crew and has participated in the Wirtz Center productions of Danceworks 2024 and 2025. While she will be abroad in the fall, she cannot wait to come back and continue dancing with Reflections!
Morgan is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of Reflections Repertory Company. She is a third-year student majoring in Social Policy and Economics and minoring in Dance. Growing up in Olympia, Washington, Morgan trained in ballet, contemporary, and jazz with Studio West Dance Academy. She performed several classic roles in numerous ballets, including Sugar Plum Fairy, Dew Drop, and Queen of Hearts, and also performed in several contemporary-ballet works. Outside of Reflections, Morgan spends her time at Northwestern writing for Northwestern’s Undergraduate Law Journal, volunteering for Books and Breakfast, and attending NU games. After returning from her fall quarter in Milan, Morgan looks forward to dancing with Reflections’ performance division again and working with the Executive Board.
Grace is a third-year student at Northwestern University majoring in Mathematical Methods in the Social Sciences (MMSS), Data Science, and Economics. She currently serves as the Company Manager for Reflections Repertory Company (RRC) and will step in as Interim Executive Director for Fall 2025. Originally from Lawrence, Kansas, Grace trained in ballet and modern at the Lawrence Arts Center, where she was a company member of Lawrence Ballet Theatre for six years. At Northwestern, she has continued her dance journey by performing in New Movement Project’s Fall Dance Concert, the Wirtz Center’s DanceWorks, the Senior Dance Concert, and RRC’s winter and spring shows. Outside the studio, Grace is passionate about health economics, with a focus on health equity and access. She’s excited to continue building memories with RRC and to support the company’s growth in the coming year.
Mila is a junior and Co-Founder of Reflections Repertory Company, where she is thrilled to return to the role of Marketing Director this year. In addition to training in ballet and contemporary dance styles, Mila was a member of the Mt. Prospect School of Classical Ballet’s performing company, Ballet Expressions, for 8 years. She also performed in Schaumburg Dance Ensemble’s The Nutcracker for 6 years. During her first year on campus, Mila danced as Clara in New Movement Project’s The Jazz Nutcracker and the Wirtz Center’s DanceWorks. At Northwestern, Mila is double majoring in journalism and international studies with a dance minor. She also serves as an Executive Producer and Anchor for the Northwestern News Network. Mila is looking forward to making more memories rehearsing and performing with other dancers this year!
Anna is a third-year student serving as treasurer for Reflections Repertory Company. She has trained in ballet for 15 years and was also a member of her high school’s dance team, where she danced styles such as contemporary, lyrical, and jazz. Her repertoire includes the roles of Odette in Swan Lake, Lilac Fairy in Sleeping Beauty, and Sugarplum Fairy in The Nutcracker. Outside of dance, Anna is majoring in Economics and International Studies and minoring in Japanese.
Emma Christensen is the Interim Artistic Director (fall quarter) and Internal Relations Chair of Reflections Repertory Company. A sophomore studying Political Science with minors in International Studies and Legal Studies, Emma trained in ballet, modern, jazz, and contemporary at Turning Pointe Dance Studio in Massachusetts. She also attended summer intensives at School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Bolshoi Ballet Academy. Her performance credits include Dew Drop and Clara in The Nutcracker, along with classical and contemporary pieces at competitions such as Youth America Grand Prix, Universal Ballet Competition, and The Connecticut Classic. At Northwestern, Emma continues to train and has expanded into new styles and choreography. Outside of Reflections, she also serves as Public Relations Chair for Boomshaka.
Sarah is the Outreach Chair of Reflections Repertory Company and is serving as Interim Marketing Director for the Fall Quarter. She is a sophomore double majoring in Cognitive Science and Journalism with a minor in Dance. Sarah trained for 12 years at Milwaukee Ballet School & Academy in ballet, modern, jazz, and hip hop, performing lead roles such as Snow White and the Queen of Hearts. She also participated in summer intensives at Milwaukee Ballet and The Washington School of Ballet. Sarah has performed in outreach events across the Midwest at nursing homes, women’s shelters, and dance festivals, and served as a ballet instructor for a Milwaukee non-profit organization. At Northwestern, she is also a member of Graffiti Dancers, and is a Resident Assistant. Sarah is excited to continue building connections through RRC and sharing her love of dance with the community!
Diane Zhao is a senior at Northwestern University studying economics and international studies. She has been dancing for 10 years, mostly back at home in Atlanta at Morningstar Dance Academy, but found her way to Northwestern and joined Reflections this last year. She is currently treasurer for the Fall and Winter quarters this year. In her free time, she loves learning new languages and drawing. You can find her exercising on the lakefill on sunny days. She is excited about all the new choreography Reflections will bring your way!
