Once a teacher, always a teacher.

Before pursuing her doctoral degree, Melanie taught K-2 science, first grade in an integrated co-teaching (ICT) classroom, and multilingual learners as a literacy interventionist. In leadership roles, Melanie was an IEP coordinator, elementary school assistant principal, and director of a center-based early childhood program that served children ages 2-5.
