Once a teacher, always a teacher.
Once a teacher, always a teacher.
Before pursuing my doctoral degree, I taught K-2 science, first grade in an integrated co-teaching (ICT) classroom, and multilingual learners as a literacy interventionist in Pre-K through 2nd grade. In leadership roles, I was an elementary school assistant principal, IEP coordinator, and director of a center-based early childhood program that served children ages 2-5. I am certified to teach and lead in New York State through School Building Leader (N-12) and Childhood Education (Grades 1-6) certifications.
