About This Site
Media and Politics is an interdisciplinary minor offered jointly by Northwestern University in Qatar and Georgetown University in Qatar and focuses on the interconnections between politics and media.
With diverse courses and opportunities provided in the minor, this site aims to revisit the learning journey and highlight the takeaways. This site includes information on taken courses, reflection on a co-curriculum activity, a reflective essay, and its video presentation.

About Me
Xingyu Qin is a senior at Northwestern University in Qatar. She majors in Media Industries and Technology and is a passionate storyteller. After exploring different forms of media from plays, films, to games, she is interested in how political implications can be embedded in stories and media representation. She also wants to be an active content creator to bring positive impacts culturally and socially by exploring the relationship between media and politics.
