About me

I am an Assistant Teaching Professor of Information Systems at Heinz College in Carnegie Mellon University. I hold a Ph.D. from the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management Sciences at Northwestern University. I received my Ms.C degree and B.S degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad de los Andes, Colombia. 

 My work focuses on modeling and designing solution approaches for logistic problems in nonprofit settings. My research interests include scheduling policies for paid and volunteer labor in context with supply and demand imbalances.
