My teaching philosophy is student centric and aimed at creating a stimulating learning environment that teaches concepts in a way that is relatable and applicable to the real-world. The field of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience is meta-cognitive in nature giving room to provide examples that students can relate to.Â
"I strive to create a stimulating learning environment where students can relate course concepts to real life behavior, are comfortable enough to ask questions, and motivated to exchange ideas."
"I will continue to integrate more recent literature into the course structure to keep students informed about current findings and to illustrate how theories are applied in real-world contexts."
"Recognizing that students have diverse learning preferences I incorporate a variety of assessments, from group quizzes and presentations to individual writing assignments."
