I graduated from Boise State University with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Design plus Mechanical Engineering. During my senior year, I worked as a Student Research Technician in the Biomedical and Mechanical Engineering department. Also, during my final semester, I had an internship as a Project Engineer at ESI Construction. Before that I worked as an axe guide at an axe throwing bar and restaurant for two and a half years, teaching people how to throw axes.
In high school, I actively participated in various programs such as the Freshman Challenger Program and the Campus Ministry Program, fostering my passion for personal growth and community engagement. Beyond the classroom, I dedicated my time to the Dove Refugee Reading Program and the Wash, Wipe, and Wear volunteer organizations, both focused on making a positive impact on the Treasure Valley community. Moreover, I held positions in dietary services at different nursing homes and worked as part of the grounds crew maintenance team at a golf course.
My interests span a wide range of activities, including golfing, rock climbing, snowboarding, music and concerts, and exploring the diverse landscapes of Idaho.
I pursued the Engineering Plus degree driven by my strong skills and interest in math and science, as well as my passion for making a positive impact on the world and improving lives. With a diligent work ethic and unwavering determination, I am committed to achieving success in all my endeavors within the engineering field. I excel in collaborative team environments and also work effectively on individual tasks. My creativity and broad understanding of engineering and the design process enable me to approach challenges with innovative perspectives.
