Line- An element of art defined by a point moving in space. Line may be two-or three-dimensional, descriptive, implied, or abstract.
these lines define the edges of an object.
we don't see this way, but most of our minds know how to translate what we see with contour lines
Lines that flow over the surface of an object. This practice gives the object space and dimension
This technique refers to the thickness of the lines. This can add different characteristics to a drawing and demention.
The artist is drawing one continous line without looking at the drawing. They are just observing the object they are drawing and not lifting up their drawing tool.
Lines create values, textures, shapes, and space.
