Open Google Chrome on your computer.
Go to the Chrome Web Store (https://chrome.google.com/webstore).
In the search bar at the top left, type "Read&Write" and press Enter.
Find the "Read&Write for Google Chrome" extension, and click on it.
Click the "Add to Chrome" button to install the extension.
Once you've installed the Read&Write extension, you can start using it:
Open a Google Docs Document:
To use Read&Write with Google Docs, open a Google Docs document in your Chrome browser.
In the top-right corner of the Google Docs interface, you should see the Read&Write toolbar. Click on the purple puzzle piece icon to open it.
You can use the "Play" button to have the text in your document read aloud to you. You can select specific text or let it read the entire document.
If you start typing, the word prediction feature will provide suggestions for completing your sentences. Click on a suggestion to insert it into your document.
You can look up the definition of a word by highlighting it and clicking the dictionary icon. The picture dictionary can provide visual explanations.
You can highlight text and collect it in the "Collect Highlights" feature, which is useful for summarizing or organizing information.
The "Simplify" button can help simplify complex text for easier understanding. Select the text you want to simplify and click this button.
Read&Write offers various other tools for reading, writing, and comprehension assistance, such as a fact finder, vocabulary tool, and speech maker.
