Technology standards allow educators to continually improve their practice, encourage them to collaborate with others to see increased student outcomes, and empower them to create student-driven lessons by analyzing student data. The ISTE Standards we will use to guide our practice can be found here on the ISTE website. We will use these standards as a guide as we work through a coaching cycle together.
Technology standards allow students to ensure that learning is a student-driven process. Today's students are asked to thrive in a technology-driven world. Following standards as guidelines to help students reach their ambitions and learn skills that will help them in today's world is a focus of the guiding standards for students. Students will be encouraged to use the 4 C's as they work toward meeting their standards: communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creative thinking. The ISTE standards for students can be found here on the ISTE website.
