The Culminating Project from this course best represents the result of my learning and practice this semester.
In this course, I learned how to interpret financial data and convert statistical information into organized records. Some specific financial records I learned to assemble are: Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements. Through practice in composing these records, I further developed my knowledge of accounting principles and finance management.
In addition to honing my skills in interpreting financial information, I further developed my proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Now, I can efficiently assemble financial information into structured graphs, data tables, charts, etc. These new skills combined with my knowledge of business finance give me the confidence to apply all that I have learned in this class to the real world.
