The goal of this three-part final project was to enable my teammates and I to demonstrate our ability to successfully apply what we learned in this course to our study of an operating business.
In Part 1 of this project, my team and I assembled a Team Charter. This document details our individual positions and responsibilities as contributing members of the team, and establishes the level of dedication expected from each member. Additionally, this document provides some rudimentary information about the business we chose to study.
Part 2 of this project is the Business Analysis Essay. This essay is the most substantial piece of the three-part project. In the essay, my teammates and I analyze the Dutch Bros Coffee company. Through the deconstruction and analysis of Dutch Bros' business model canvass, we examine how successful the company is at implementing profitable business strategies and tactics.
Finally, Part 3 of the final project is the Business Model Canvass (BMC). Much like the analysis essay, this section of the project breaks down and analyzes each major component of Dutch Bros' operating strategy. The difference between these two parts is that the BMC presents this information in a much more succinct fashion. By following the link provided above, you will notice that this aspect of the project is a comprehensive, visual representation of the Dutch Bros company.
