Microsoft Academic: a comprehensive research tool that allows the user to search by topic or field of study.
Zotero: a free, open-source reference managemant tool that allows users to create bibliographies and citations as well as keep notes on research
Green Humour: registered under CC, this website has humorous/educational infographs.
Audacity: this free cross-platform audio software is easy to use and intiuative.
iMovie: an outstanding movie maker and video editor for Windows or Mac that allows users to create, polished, professional movies.
Microsoft Speech to Text: "You can use your voice to dictate text to your Windows PC. For example, you can dictate text to fill out online forms; or you can dictate text to a word-processing program, such as WordPad, to type a letter. "
Google Read and Write: This app not only lets you dictate your writing, it also turns documents into mp3s.
Amara: allows you to create captions for short videos.
Movie Captioner: Closed caption software for MacBook.
View2do: Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities often struggle to self manage. This application allows users to ule will create a visual schedule to help individuals stay on task.
Quizlet: a study application that allows for teacher or student created flashcards with a learning, study, or game mode.
Google Forms: a survey form that enables teachers to gather information through surveys or to assess student progress through the creation of quizzes.
Khan Academy: an international non-profit company that offers a comprehensive, standards based, and interactive learning experiences for students with a wide array of content choices including math and language arts.
Educreations: a screencasting tool created specifically for the ipad. Using this software it is easy to annotate, animate, and narrate content. Additionally, content can be shared publicly, creating a collaboration worldwide.
Pear Deck add-on: enables the user to add interactive slides, formative, assessments and embedded audio to Google Slides presentations.
Buncee: users create interactive, attractive, classroom content.
Canva:a free graphic design tool for schools which incorporates thousands of free images, text choices, and templates.With this software, teachers and students can create charts, graphs, lecture slides and presentations, portfolios,learning plans, and more (Canva for Education, n.d.).
Storiumedu: a collaborative, online, story writing game. Students are able to create their own character cards. The game-play is based on the different elements of storytelling and character development.
Pixar Storytelling Rules #1: an animation based on the 22 rules of storytelling by Emma Coats. This video helps students identify,"What makes a story great."
Book Creator: an online ebook creator tha allows for realtime feedback and collaboration .
Hapyak: allows teachers to annotated videos making the learning experience memorable, encouraging efficient and optimized learning.
Prezi: presentation software that uses motion, zoom, and spatial relationships.
Planbook: a web-based lesson planning tool that helps teacher to lesson plan and collaborate.
Piktochart: users use text and data to create infographics, reports, and printables.
Studysync : a platform that delivers a complete English Language Arts Curriculum. Social Emotional learning opportunities are embedded throughout the program. Assessments are embedded into every unit to provide both formative and summative assessment data.
Google Forms:Google Forms is a free survey tool that allows the user to create and collect personalized data. Teachers can use this software to create and administer quizzes.

Virtual Icebreakers- website developed by BSU students (EdTech 523) "to give online teachers usable Icebreakers for synchronous or asynchronous activities."
Voicethread: A cross-platform tool that allows users to present, communicate, collaborate, and connect.
Teacherease: is software created with the intent of easing teachers who might not be familiar with implementing common core standards-based learning into a fully integrated model of teaching. This platform includes data analytics, collaboration tools, learning targets, rubrics, and the ability to create a gradebook that tracks student progress in relation to standards.
Diigo: a social bookmarking website. Users can create groups for sharing resources and outlines for organizing online resources.
GitKraken Timelines: a multimedia timeline creator with a wide array of options. Users can create date-based or numeric timelines with milestones and dates, add images with image backgrounds, and share timelines with a private or public link.
Pocket: a "read later" application that saves articles in an easy-to-read, add-free format for reading on or offline at a later time.
Lucidchart: cloud based, allows users to create process charts, diagrams, and mind maps.
Google Suite for Education: a suite of web applications for teachers including apps such as Calendar, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Forms, Sites, and Google Classroom.
