About Me

My name is Mrs. Megan Xaverius. I am an English/ELL Teacher at the DREAM Academy. I received my Bachelor's of Arts (B.A.) in Spanish and Education from North Central College in Naperville, Illinois and my Master's of Education (M.Ed.) in Adolescent Literacy from the University of Concordia-Portland in Portland, Oregon. I am currently working on a M.Ed. in Principal Preparation through Concordia University Chicago.

In previous years, I have taught ELL/Bilingual Education, Language Arts, Social Studies, Math, and Science ranging from elementary to high school ages. The past four years at DREAM I have been teaching English and ELL. In my role at the DREAM Academy, I am motivated by my students' success and the small family community that we have created here at DREAM!
