All indie bookshops are already unofficial Embassies of Bookland and have the right to validate passports however they see fit. The use of a shop stamp, embosser or sticker is the most usual method, though writing in passport pages, signing pages, and attaching bookshop business cards/bookmarks to pages is also acceptable.

To become an Official Embassy of Bookland you must undertake to issue Passports, which can be purchased by emailing the Secretary to the Grand High Ambassador of Bookland secretary@booklandembassies.org

Once established Official Embassies will be added to our List of Embassies. Should a Bookshop cease issuing passports we would kindly ask them to update us so that we can remove them from the list.
