How many weeks are the Level 1 and 2 Learning Plans expected to take?
Level 1 and Level 2 Learning Plans are designed to be completed in 6-8 weeks, based on an instructor working 2 shifts per week in-center and completing 3-6 hours of training per week outside the center between scheduled shifts. Depending on the timing of Training Days and their availability, it may take the instructor a few more weeks to finish all of their tasks.
What am I supposed to put in a new instructor's binder?
It should include everything in the Instructor Binder file below.
When does my instructor get their Level 3 training assigned?
When they have completed their Level 2 Learning Plan.
How many weeks is the Level 3 Learning Plan expected to take?
Level 3 is self-paced. Completing all Lesson Books is estimated to take 16-20 hours.
How much are the training completion raises?
$1/hr for completing both Level 1 and Level 2 and $0.50/hr for Level 3. These take effect on the first day of the pay period after the instructor completes the Learning Plans.
When will my instructor get their engraved name tag?
Instructors who complete Level 3 will receive an engraved name tag. The Training Director will order these approximately once a month. A suggested practice is to give out new name tags during monthly staff meetings.
