First Steps Memberships are for students who are too young for our standard membership. Rather than 60 minute sessions, First Steps students are instead scheduled for 30 minute sessions.

Step 1: Determine if the student should be placed on a First Steps Membeship

First Step Memberships are intended for students who are Pre-K and Kindergarden (before 1st grade)
Students already in 1st grade and beyond should very rarely be considered for First Steps Memberships
Step 2: Determine which of the First Steps Membership Option to enroll the student in

Step One - Building Blocks
This option is for students still learning the basic fundamentals of numbers
Step Two - Basic Skills
These students are more familiar with number systems and are working on very basic arithmatic
Step Three - Transition
These students are soon entering the 1st grade and already have a solid fundamental understanding of arithmatic
Step Four - Regular Mathnasium Program
As students move into 1st grade, we will need to transition them to our Regular Mathnasium Program to ensure they continue to learn at an appropriate pace

Step 4: During the Enrollment Opportunity Setup, select the appropriate Contract Length and Session Length that matches to the appropriate Step

The Contract Length and Session Length should match the appropriate Homework Help Option
Step 1 - Building Blocks: Contract Length 1, Session Length 30 minutes

Step 4 - Regular Mathnasium Program: Membership Type Flexible, Grade Range Elemetary Grades, Contract Length TBD (24 month recommend), Session Length 60 minutes
