The Community Foundation - a 501(c)(3) public charity serving the Texas Hill Country - will direct funds to vetted organizations providing rescue, relief, and recovery efforts as well as flood assistance. The Fund will support the communities of Hunt, Ingram, Kerrville, Center Point, and Comfort. All donations are tax-deductible, and you will receive a receipt for your gift.
Grants from the Fund will support nonprofit organizations, first responder agencies, and local governments actively involved in response, relief, and recovery efforts. While we are unable to award grants directly to individuals or families - or to fund repairs to private property or replace personal belongings - we are committed to channeling resources to the trusted organizations working tirelessly to help our neighbors in need. Together, we can make a meaningful difference during this challenging time.
Donations can also be mailed to our office at 241 Earl Garrett Street, Kerrville, Texas 78028.
Texas Search and Rescue deploys throughout the state of Texas at the request of local, state and federal agencies, working in support of those agencies to offer a wide variety of highly specialized resources which may not be otherwise available.
EMERGENCY OFFICIALS needing TEXSAR services should contact the TEXSAR Activation Line: 512-994-4727 (Agencies Only)
Individuals needing emergency assistance should contact 9-1-1 or their local authorities.
TEXSAR is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that does not receive any government funding.
Because of the generosity of our sponsors, we are able to provide our services completely free of charge. There is never a charge for our services to any requesting agency or individual we help.
All proceeds will go toward supplies for the victims - water, tarps, blankets, toiletries, canned goods/nonperishables, etc. - that we will drive out and drop off at the shelters and reunification locations in Kerrville, Texas. This disaster has left Kerr County with limited access to resources, so our goal is to take what we can out to those folks to help them in a dire time of need.
Contact the organizer through the GoFundMe page or via Instagram.
Note: The JLA is currently directing donations to the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund (linked above).
