Authentic outcome - to Reflect and Evaluate their project, children will develop and create fingerprint key rings to show how unique we are at the Christmas Market.
Learners will host a gallery with parents invited to showcase their art depicting self expression as an art form.
During our Consider and Create phase, children will visit Betty Campbell’s statue and tour the Senedd to explore what it means to be an active citizen and develop their understanding of their rights.
By developing learners’ identity, resilience, empathy and decision-making abilities, they can be supported to become ambitious, capable learners, ready to learn throughout their lives.
Learners will be supported to become ethical, informed citizens of Wales and the world by developing their ability to show respect, to value equality, to listen to others and to evaluate the social influences affecting them. Learners will be able to discuss and explore their rights and how these have been shaped by protests of the past.
Learners will become healthy, confident individuals, ready to lead fulfilling lives as valued members of society are informed by knowledge of their bodies and the changes they will go through, physically and mentally, throughout their lives.
Through enabling learners to manage risks, express ideas and emotions, develop and maintain healthy relationships, and take on different roles and responsibilities, the learning and experience in this Area can support learners to become enterprising, creative contributors ready to play a full part in life and work.
