communication from the chair of governors
I am pleased to update you that Mrs Halling is returning after the February half term.
She has spent some time in school this week and has visited all of the children and staff. She has made the decision to change back to her maiden name of Miss Gladstone and we fully support this.
We are all looking forward to her return and we are so pleased that she has made a full recovery. I would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Davies and Mrs Lowe for their exceptional leadership during this time which has allowed for a seamless transition. I would also like thank Mrs Bourton for her outstanding work with Owls class during this period. This is testament to the successful working relationship of the leadership and school team over the last few years and to this end I am pleased that there will be a smooth transition as they embrace their roles moving forward. The school leadership team will continue to work extremely closely to ensure consistency and continued success.
To clarify, after February half term, Miss Gladstone is returning to her role as Headteacher; Mr Davies is returning to his role of Deputy Headteacher; and Mrs Lowe is returning to her role as SENDCO.
