We have noticed an increasing amount of cuddly toys and fidget toys coming into school from home over recent weeks. Please can we ask that children do not bring in any of these items from home.
If your child requires these resources then this will need to be pre-arranged with myself and in line with an identified need.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support.

Our second full week of using Times Table Rockstars is over!
The battles have been close as the week has progressed but we have two clear winners that are revealed below!
Next week, we will be pitting the winning year groups against each other. Year 5's will be battling Year 4's. This means that we are also going to challenge Year 3's to battle the Year 6's!
Congratulations to Year 5 and Year 4!!
Year 5's were victorious in battle against Year 6 this week earning 668 points against 343 points. Year 4 were also victorious in a very close battle with Year 3, achieving 384 points against 360!
Times Table Rockstars ranks the 'most valuable players' during the rock battle this week and these children in each year group earned the acclaim:
Year 3:
1: Lea W 2: Keira R 3: Jack C
Year 4:
1: Keira N 2: Bertie F 3: Hallie B
Year 5:
1: Kellan R 2: Henry W 3: Arianne G
Year 6:
1: Stephanie G 2: Jasper W 3: Amelia H
As a part of our Times Table Rockstar subscription - we have also been able to use a program called Numbots that focuses on understanding of number bonds, subitising numbers and addition and subtraction skills. We see this as a perfect step into understanding multiplication and division facts with Times Table Rockstars.
Year 2's currently have logins so that they can access 'numbots' at both home and at school.
This week - Lachlan S has been given an award for achieving an incredible amount of minutes during the first week of using Numbots! Well done Lachlan.
Please can children bring coats or if it is sunny, they should also bring a sunhat and wear suncream to school. They also need a tracksuit top or school sweatshirt for PE and sporting clubs over their t-shirt. We are outside for PE as often as possible. There are still a few unnamed PE tops and quite a few jumpers currently in the lost property box - if you have lost one, please come and have a look!
The cost of a school dinner increased to £2.71 with effect from 8th April 2024.

One of our Year 6 pupils, Freddie, has decided to raise some money for a fantastic cause. Freddie is doing a sponsored litter pick for Cheltenham Animal Shelter!
He will be picking litter around Twyning during May half term. He is hoping to raise £150 for the animal shelter to help support the great work that the charity do.
If you would like to donate towards Freddie's litter pick. Please follow this link: https://cas.enthuse.com/pf/freddie-neal-sayer
