Here is this week's news:
What a lovely sunny week we have had! On Tuesday we welcomed Twyning Village Playgroup to school for their sports day event which was held on the school field. The children really enjoyed their time here.
Yesterday evening, we held a new parents information event to welcome our new reception 2024 families. It was so lovely to meet our new (and existing) families - I hope you found the evening helpful! Please can you complete and return the forms that were in your information packs as soon as you are able - this will enable us to update our records and ensure we hold all the correct and up to date contact and health information for your child ready for when they start school with us. Thank you.
Next week, we are looking forward to our annual sports day on the village green! We do still need helpers to come forward, so if you are able to help, please speak to me or Mrs Bowen on Monday morning or send us an email.
Our leavers and Year 5 have been practising really hard for their performances of "The Greatest Showman" - the rest of the school will be treated to the full dress rehearsal next week, and we are getting very excited!
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.
Congratulations this week go to...

We are looking to create a donations box for good quality trainers, PE shoes, school shoes, school bags, pencil cases etc. If you are having a clear out and find any old but usable good quality items I'm sure there are many other children in Gloucestershire and our local area who are in need of them. These items will be collected and sent to children who may not be fortunate enough to have these school items. We will have a collection box ready to drop items in, by the school main doors during the last few weeks of this term. Thank you for support.
There are only 3 tea towels left! If you still want one, please ask Mrs Bowen for one and bring £5 per towel..
