Here is this week's news:
Good afternoon everyone!
Last Friday's final total for Comic Relief Red Nose Day and the cake sale came to an amazing £253.06! Thank you all for your kind donations.
I hope you would all agree that the BINGO night on Wednesday was fabulous! The total raised was £931.79! Thank you to Ben Wilson and John Irwin for being our amazing Bingo Callers! Thank you so much to our PTFA for organising this event - I know how much hard work and effort you all put in to make these events happen. It was a really successful evening. Congratulations to all the winners in the raffle too! Big thanks to Aldi Tewkesbury, Hilton Puckrup Hall, Trainmaster, Tewkesbury Leisure Centre, Tewkesbury Garden Centre, Louise Essex Bodywise, Phanthong Thai, The Fleet Inn, Twyning Hair Studio, Morrisons Tewkesbury and all of the wonderful people who kindly donated gifts for prizes.
Our PTFA have also very kindly given every child in school an Easter Egg each. The children were very happy to receive these yesterday - it was lovely to see the smiles on their faces. Happy Easter everyone!
You have probably seen on Social Media that the TRAC play area is being refurbished. The area is now closed for 4-5 weeks until the works have been completed. We are sure the new equipment will be worth waiting for.
I hope you all have a lovely Easter Break and look forward to seeing you all again on the 13th April.
Kind regards,
Miss Gladstone

This consultation is the next step in the Government’s work to ensure children’s experiences online are safe and enriching and to understand how technology impacts children’s wellbeing, and what more we can do to help families strike the right balance. Please see this link and share your views on this very important issue.

Over recent months, we have made the careful decision to have CCTV installed around the outside of our building to enhance the safety of our premises. It was installed last week and is now live. The policy and documentation are available on our website. If you have any questions about this, please do get in touch.
Please can I remind you of the sessions being held at Tewkesbury Youth Support centre from 10-11.30am. Please see the following link for more details.

Apply online for pupil premium and free school meals - check to see if your child is eligible using the confidential online portal available on our website www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/education-and-learning/free-school-meals/
You can secure a tasty free meal for your child and save yourself up to £480 per year. Plus our school receives extra funding for each eligible child registered. If you receive a qualifying benefit, we are entitled to extra funding. So even if you don’t want your child to take a free meal, you should still apply to make sure that we receive all the government funding to which we are entitled.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 already receiving an Universal Infant Free School Meal arranged by their school, will still need to apply to enable school to get any extra funding. For further information, including a list of qualifying benefits, click the link above.
I just wanted to remind parents about the most effective ways to make contact with your child's teacher should you need to. You can also advise us if your child is off school sick/unwell on the School Spider app. This is also in the communications section of the website. This document also lists all of the emails for the teachers. We kindly ask that you do not use the private messaging system on Dojo but instead use email please. Many thanks for your support as always. spaces.schoolspider.co.uk/uploads/605/page/40075479_page_file.pdf
