Here is this week's news:
It has been a very good week in school despite the changeable weather. A special well done to our new children for a great first full week!
Gate Security: Can I please remind everybody about gate security. Please ring the bell on the school gate to gain access. If somebody else has already been let in, please wait until the gate is closed again before ringing for access for yourself. Many thanks.
Coats - All children should be bringing a named waterproof coat to school. We have had such changeable weather recently that we never know what the weather will bring at the moment!
Also, a reminder that Y3 children do NOT now qualify for free fruit and veg at breaktimes, so will need to bring their own healthy snacks to school. The Government free fruit and veg scheme is only for KS1 and Reception children.
Class Dojo apology - It has come to our attention that class dojo sent an automated message to all families, on moving children between classes, asking for introductions about your children. Please accept my apologies for this - it was completely out of our control!
Club places for all clubs except Nature club have now been confirmed by School Spider Message. If you've applied for a club but not received confirmation please email Mrs Bowen in the Office. Nature Club places will be confirmed by Wednesday 17th. Any queries please contact Mrs Bowen in the Office. It is important that you do have School Spider downloaded as all club contact is made through the app, as are Parents Evening appointments.
Today we welcomed the NHS nurses to administer the Flu Spray vaccination to the children. Children were given their certificates this afternoon. If your child did not have their vaccine they should have brought home a letter today, or you will receive an email from the nurses.
Have a wonderful weekend.

Apply online for pupil premium and free school meals - check to see if your child is eligible using the confidential online portal available on our website www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/education-and-learning/free-school-meals/
You can secure a tasty free meal for your child and save yourself up to £480 per year. Plus our school receives extra funding for each eligible child registered. If you receive a qualifying benefit, we are entitled to extra funding. So even if you don’t want your child to take a free meal, you should still apply to make sure that we receive all the government funding to which we are entitled.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 already receiving an Universal Infant Free School Meal arranged by their school, will still have to apply to enable school to get any extra funding. For further information, including a list of qualifying benefits, click the link above.
Yes - we already have some lost property! Also a few missing items. Please could you check your children's PE jackets please to make sure they are wearing the right one? The lost property box is located in the entrance foyer by Mrs Bowen's office - please come and have a look through if you are missing anything. Please make sure your children's names are written/stuck/sewn on to all of their items!
Hopefully you have now got your Apps set up and working! You should have access to Class Dojo, School Spider and be registered on ParentPay. If you are having any issues please contact Mrs Bowen in the Office or pop in on Monday before or after school.
