Here is this week's news:
Welcome back everyone!
We have very much enjoyed meeting our new Rabbits class! Well done to them all for settling in so well - the Y6 buddies have been loving their new responsibility! Next week they are in school full time.
This term's extra-curricular teacher-run clubs have now been published on Class Dojo - please have a look if you've not done so already and email Mrs Bowen to book your child's place. Club places will be confirmed by Wednesday 10th for all clubs except Nature Club which will be confirmed by Wednesday 17th. We will send out a School Spider message to you to confirm your child's place.
Our music teacher Aidan Pope has a few vacancies for piano, guitar or drumming if your children are interested in learning, please email Aidan on aidanpopemusician@gmail.com .
We also have a singing teacher who will be visiting us shortly, so if you are interested in lessons for your child, please let Mrs Bowen know by emailing her on admin@twyning.gloucs.sch.uk to register your interest.
On Friday 12th September, we have the NHS nurses visiting us to administer the Flu Spray vaccination to the children. This is a simple and quick spray up the nostril. If you have not already done so, please visit Flu Vaccination Consent Form and type in the school code GC115547 to consent or decline your child's vaccination.
Have a wonderful weekend.
Miss Gladstone

Apply online for pupil premium and free school meals - check to see if your child is eligible using the confidential online portal available on our website www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/education-and-learning/free-school-meals/
You can secure a tasty free meal for your child and save yourself up to £480 per year. Plus our school receives extra funding for each eligible child registered. If you receive a qualifying benefit, we are entitled to extra funding. So even if you don’t want your child to take a free meal, you should still apply to make sure that we receive all the government funding to which we are entitled.
Children in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 already receiving an Universal Infant Free School Meal arranged by their school, will still have to apply to enable school to get any extra funding. For further information, including a list of qualifying benefits, click the link above.
Hopefully you have now got your Apps set up and working! You should have access to Class Dojo, School Spider and be registered on ParentPay. If you are having any issues please contact Mrs Bowen in the Office or pop in on Monday before or after school.
Please see the flyer regarding French Club, a paid-for club, run by Aurore Chatron-Michaud. French club is held on Tuesdays during the lunch hour. Please contact Aurore directly to book.
