Welcome to Pioneer Digital Days Camp! We are excited to collaborate with you and your child as learners in the new digital age. During camp, we will use brain-based learning strategies and a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) framework to teach activities created in TWU's ECE 5413, Brain-based Learning course.
Through our collaborative online connection using Zoom, you and your child will learn about brain development and its' effect on learning, tinkering, developmentally appropriate activities and extensions you can use for the rest of the summer, and contribute to an online community of makerspaces originating from each camp participants' home.
Digital Days Chant to begin each day at camp:
I am smart, I'm a thinker, I will use my heart to create and tinker.
I make mistakes, I don't complain, I know that practice will grow my brain.
Digi Days, Digi Days, Da, Da, Digi Days!!
