Camp CoDe for Girls

Interested in a fun week working with robots and learning programming?

TWU Future Classroom Lab

Camp CoDE (Computing in Deaf Education) for Girls is a unique opportunity for deaf/hard of hearing girls and their teacher.

Hosted by the Texas Woman's University Future Classroom Lab (TWUFCL), this week-long camp is devoted to helping girls in grades K-8 and their teachers develop coding and robotics skills in a friendly, accessible environment.

Nine girls and their teachers will be selected for this experience. In addition to developing computing, coding, and robotic skills, girls will receive a stipend to select codable robots to take home with them to use. Teachers will also receive a stipend to select codable robots to use at home or with their students. Limited funds are available to help support family travel to the TWU Denton campus each day of camp.
