1. You must be trained by a competent trainer of Li or Anderson Labs before using this equipment. Being trained by a member of your own lab is not sufficient. We can train you on your own sample.
2. You must perform one run in the presence of a competent trainer from Li or Anderson Lab before using it on your own. Again, we can do this on your next sample.
3. You must complete the above training before being added to the User List.
4. Only people on the User List are authorized to use this homogenizer.
5. If you have any questions or concerns, do not hesitate to ask for help. We all want this homogenizer to live long and happy. Do not just walk away when malfunctions happened.
During the operations of this homogenizer, please bring the following chemicals or solutions.
1. Distilled water or RO water (~ 1 L).
2. Ethanol solution (75 % v/v, ~ 500 mL).
3. Your sample (10 mL minimum, > 20 mL recommended).
4. Your lysis buffer (optional).
