• Don't get hung up on the agency. Many agencies hire wildlife and animal biologists.

• Don't get hung up on the title. The work you get to do is more important than the job title. One "ecologist" may work with animals every day while a "wildlife biologist" just deals with permitting and never goes in the field. Read the job descriptions.
