Wunde Elementary School celebrated its 56th anniversary on November 15, 2025 with a lively Sports Day program featuring performances, cultural costumes, and family activities.
The event opened with student drum performances, a group dance, and a rollerblade show that impressed the audience. Teachers also joined the celebration by wearing traditional costumes from different countries.
During the parade, each grade level represented a different nation. Grade 1 students dressed as Spanish dancers and bulls, while Grade 2 students appeared in animal costumes to represent Kenya. Grade 3 showcased Taiwan with traditional outfits and Buddha costumes. Grade 4 students represented the United States with creative costumes such as the Statue of Liberty, Judy from Zootopia, Harley Quinn, and even a NASA airplane. Grade 5 came as Argentina’s football players, and Grade 6 represented Japan with baseball uniforms.
Parents also took part in the celebration, with some arriving dressed as Power Rangers, earning cheers from the students.
After the performances, students participated in various games and relay races. Parents participated in a baseball-hitting activity, where they competed for prizes.
The celebration highlighted the school’s creativity, teamwork, and community spirit as Wunde Elementary honored its 56 years of service.
